ABOUT ME
I am passionate about creating an interest for science in high school students and ensuring their successful performance in tests and exams. I am presently teaching high school science, chemistry and biology at Mississauga Secondary Academy, Mississauga. I have been tutoring Ontario grade 11 &12 students chemistry and biology for many years and am well-versed with the Ontario curriculum. Prior to this, I have taught biology at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Ottawa and Carleton University. I started my career as a scientist with teaching and research responsibilities after completion of my PhD.
tailored approach
Each student is different and I recognize that. In the introductory session, I assess the needs of the student and then create a tailored instruction plan to ensure rapid absorption of fundamentals followed by application of concepts to problem solving. During every lesson, I illustrate concepts through examples from everyday life.
At the end of each unit, or after the course is over(however the student wants it),I give practice exams.
I also give tips on doing assignments.
